The objectives of Business Networking program are:

  1. Conduct webinars focus on the thinking, process and discipline required for successful Business Development and how to turn those efforts into revenue by preparing a winning proposal.
  2. Actively encourage the participation of existing members who have businesses or members who are looking to start a business.
  3. Actively reach out to Loyola Alumni Business in the US and worldwide to develop a network of intelligent business community by sharing vital information in technology, marketing strategy and identifying potential clients to expand their business horizon.

Our Future Plans include:

  1. CREATE A BUSINESS DIRECTORY: A Creation of a World Loyola College Alumni Business Directory and This Business Directory will be visible at our newly created website.
  2. IDENTIFY BUSINESS CONTRACTS
  3. LOCATE RFP’s
  4. IDENTIFY BUSINESS LICENCES AND CERTIFICATIONS: Being effective at business development requires a healthy mix of confidence, skill and mindset. However, all your efforts could prove to be fruitless if you cannot produce a winning proposal.

  • The necessary tools to become a good Business Development Professional including the thinking, behavior and skills required for proactive client engagement and revenue generation.

  • The difference between Strategic and Organic Business Development.
  • The difference between goal and purpose-driven business development.
  • The significance and interaction of the Intel Funnel and the Opportunity Pipeline.
  • The basis of a common Business Development language and culture among your organization’s Business Development, Capture, Proposal and Operations teams.
  • How to read and dissect an RFP document.
  • How to prepare, structure and submit a winning proposal tailored to the customer’s needs by summarizing the issues the customer faces.

Small and Minority Business Directory

HOW WILL THE DIRECTORY WORK?

The Small Business Directory will be visible to all our website visitors.  Anyone can search by the fields listed on the Small Business Directory form.  Qualifying companies will appear in the search results. Clicking on a company name will display the full company profile, including name, address, phone, e-mail, etc.

COST TO BE LISTED IN THE BUSINESS DIRECTORY

There is no charge for a directory listing, so long as you’re a member in good standing, or if you’re a business member who would like to upgrade to Small Business membership for $100 annual fee.
