Dear Loyola Alumni Association USA (LAAUSA) members,
As we celebrate 100 years of excellence and community, we are creating a special ebook featuring stories from Loyola College alumni living in the United States. This book will capture the experiences, inspirations, and journeys of those who found a home at Loyola College Chennai and beyond.
Do you have a story to share?
We are looking for short personal stories (200-300 words) on the following themes:
Finding a Home in the USA
- First-generation students’ experiences adapting to life in America
- How the Alumni became a safe space for new transplants
- Stories of alumni who built careers and families in the U.S.
Memorable College Moments
- Funny, inspiring, or unforgettable experiences on campus
- Mentorship and friendships that changed lives
- Overcoming challenges as a student
Inspiration & Success Stories
- Alumni who became leaders, entrepreneurs, or change-makers
- How lessons from college helped them in their careers
- Stories of giving back to the college or community
The LAAUSA engagement with Alma Mater
- Reflections from longtime faculty and staff
- The evolution of LAAUSA Chapter
- Contributions via workshops, lectures, presentations, webinars, fireside chats, etc.
